A sneak peek at two of our newest buildings, located in Bellevue, Washington 📸: Say hello to Dynamo and Sonic. 👋 These two work spaces are bringing collaboration to the next level! Dynamo provides over 300,000 square feet of new office and collab space for over 1,500 employees working across teams at Amazon. This space provides a variety of working options; from informal meeting spaces for small group discussions, to white boarding areas for in-depth problem-solving, focus rooms for head’s down writing or coding, and informal couch and living room setups for team discussions. 🛋️ Sonic provides 19 floors of working space across more than 400,000 square feet, and includes something new to our buildings – team suites. These rooms are equipped with a variety of seating and meeting options like whiteboarding areas, living room lounge setups, breakout discussion rooms, phone booths, conference-style boardrooms, and traditional desk seating. 🌟 Reflecting on Empowerment and Unity: Highlights from Our #IWD2024 Event in Malaysia 🌟 Our recent celebration of International Women's Day in Malaysia, themed "Inspire Learning," was a heartfelt tribute to empowerment, unity, and inspiration. It showcased our dedication to growth and honoring the remarkable women who impact us daily. In line with our commitment to community service, we partnered with Steelcase employees to collect 400 children's books donated to Yayasan Chow Kit (YCK). This initiative aims to support underprivileged children and foster a love for learning in our community. Additionally, each attendee received a special gift—a meticulously handmade soap crafted by the talented Orang Asli mothers. The soap is made not only to support indigenous children in staying in school but also to create employment opportunities for women from marginalized communities, epitomizing our steadfast dedication to fostering social impact. Our writing contest, "Honoring Inspirational Women," provided a platform for employees to express gratitude and admiration for mentors and role models who've influenced their professional lives. The heartfelt stories shared were touching tributes to those who've guided us along our journeys. We were privileged to have Donna Flynn, our Global Vice President of Human Resources, join our activities, emphasizing the significance of International Women's Day and the importance of supporting women in the workplace. Her words resonated deeply, reaffirming our commitment to equality, growth, and empowerment.
