Since February of 2022, my time spent at David's House Ministries has been nothing short of transformative. My position within the organization holds a special place in my heart, leaving an indelible impression that I cherish deeply. From the moment I embarked on this journey, I made a personal commitment to uphold the core values that David's House Ministries so passionately pursues. These values, centered around the well-being of the body, soul, and spirit, became the guiding principles that shaped me daily. My primary focus was on supporting the residents and collaborating closely with my coworkers, forming a tightly-knit community built on mutual care and encouragement. The relationships forged during my time at DHM are marked by an unyielding strength, something I am extremely grateful for. The opportunities presented to me as a direct care staff member at David's House Ministries have been nothing short of life-changing. I have learned new skills that I get to use on my next chapter in my career. As I embark on the next phase of my journey, transitioning into an internship as a CTRS, I am acutely aware that the experiences and lessons learned at David's House Ministries will forever shape my work ethic, knowledge base, and character.
