Meet our newest member of our Portfolio Team, Graham Eby Graham kicked off his IB career on our Warehouse Team while attending Western Michigan University's Food Marketing Program. Learn a little bit about Graham: My future career goals include using the tools I have learned throughout WMU's Food Marketing Program to increase sales, brand awareness, and forecast consumer behaviors effectively within a chosen industry. My favorite part about working with Imperial Beverage is the people who work here. There is always something interesting to learn from someone at every department. Welcome to the Portfolio Team Graham!

While we patiently wait for the finished works of art, we wanted to take a moment to highlight a member of the Imperial Beverage family that is also part of the MRC Industries, Inc. community, Nate! Nate joined Imperial in 2021 and was featured in MRC’s 2021 annual report with an entire article on his successes. “Nathan quickly became a valuable employee at Imperial Beverage and received a card from his coworkers full of kind notes about how much they appreciate having him as part of their team. ‘Nate is a great employee! He is always happy when he comes in and is consistent with his output of boxes to be made and often exceeds his goal for the day,’ says Jim Dostal.” We appreciate Nate, and we are grateful to #MRC for connecting us with such a great employee!

We visited our friends at MRC Industries, Inc. this past week to snag an early glimpse of the artwork in progress. All we can say is, WOW! Many of the paintings are still in progress, but they are already looking fabulous! While we wait patiently for the masterpieces to be finished, we thought that we would take a moment to highlight how welcoming and inviting MRC's location is! Every corner you turn, you will find a smiling face, inspirational messaging and beautiful artwork! Thank you for letting us come by and visit! More news regarding the contest will be coming soon, keep an eye out for your chance to vote for the winner!

It is time we can officially announce how Imperial Beverage and MRC Industries, Inc are partnering! Imperial Beverage has commissioned MRC to paint our logo! Not just one painting, but rather, one from as many MRC participants as are willing. We will follow along as MRC members craft their masterpieces and post the exciting experience here! What Imperial Beverage will need from you as a member of the internet community: once all the paintings are completed vote on your favorite! The most voted-for art piece will be printed on t-shirts and will be made available for purchase. Profits from the shirt sales will go to MRC, and all the paintings that are not used for the shirts will be purchased by our CEO Joe Cekola to proudly display in Imperial warehouses across Michigan. While this will be a neat opportunity to get a fun shirt and raise some funds for a great program, the bigger goal is to provide an opportunity for MRC to be seen. We believe their mission is worth talking about and that their work is significant. This experience is about more than just t-shirts and paintings; it is an opportunity to spotlight a fantastic program filled with amazing people whose works deserve support. Keep your eyes peeled for new posts and updates this spring; there is much yet to come!
