🎨 Transforming Detroit (with art)! 🎨 Exciting news out of the ongoing Joe Louis Greenway Project in Detroit. The City of Detroit invited students from Noble Elementary School, along with other artists and community members, to paint a section of the greenway on Cherry Lawn between Fullerton and W. Buena Vista. These murals, featuring fun, energetic, and bright images, bring life and vibrancy to the area while fostering a sense of community in Littlefield Park. This initiative is part of the larger Joe Louis Greenway project - a 30-mile stretch connecting Detroit, Highland Park, Dearborn, and Hamtramck, with bike paths and existing trails. We are thrilled to be part of this (led by our Detroit Market Lead Tricia DeMarco, PE, AICP, SITES AP, LEED AP (She/Her) and look forward to sharing more updates! Pipe Perfection: Where Engineering Standards Meet Production! Our Public Engineering and Land Development teams had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the meticulous production process behind the concrete pipes used in storm sewer and sanitary sewer systems. With engineering standards dictating pipe types and strengths based on installation depth and surface use, this tour was invaluable for our staff to deepen their understanding of how the products we specify in our site and roadway designs are crafted to meet the highest standards. Thanks to Northern Concrete Pipe, Inc. for the tour!
