Honoring Our Heroes: A Memorial Day Reflection This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, dedication, and love for our nation are forever etched in our hearts and minds. At TMT, we understand the profound importance of remembering those who have served and the deep impact of their legacy. Many of the patients and families we serve have stories intertwined with military service, and it is our privilege to support them with compassion and care. Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served in the Armed Forces, especially those who have given their lives in the line of duty. We also acknowledge the families who carry the weight of their loss with enduring strength and grace. Your sacrifice is felt deeply and honored sincerely. WOUND CARE One of the many services that TMT offers! Patients with non-healing wounds or ulcers, surgical wounds or incisions from traumatic injuries, or new ostomies will be helped in caring for and managing these wounds. Additionally, incontinence care and management techniques are offered. Services are provided in accordance with the standards of care established by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society. Program Components: ▶️ Health status assessment ▶️ Development of an individualized care plan ▶️ Skilled care as ordered by a physician and based on established protocols ▶️ Instruction to patients and caregivers in skin and wound/ostomy/incontinence management and in the role of proper nutrition ▶️ Coordination and communication with the patient’s physician and other healthcare providers ▶️ Outcomes reporting on key indicators of wound improvement and management and patient satisfaction If you would like more information on these or all of our home healthcare and hospice services, please comment below!
